Missionajmls-frequently-asked-questions

The primary purpose of the Law School Financial Aid Office is to provide students with the resources that will enable them to finance their legal education.

To achieve this objective we will make every effort to:

  • Provide students with information on actual cost of attendance.
  • Help students seek, obtain and make the best use of the available resources.
  • Be sensitive to the students’ needs and their special circumstances.

About

Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) is committed to assisting students in financing their legal education through a comprehensive financial aid program. Merit-based scholarships are awarded by AJMLS to selected students, but the largest forms of financial aid for law students are educational loans. Pursuing a legal education is a significant investment of a student’s time and financial resources. The investment can be considerable, so it is highly recommended that students borrow conservatively at all times and be diligent to budget money wisely.

Our team of dedicated and competent financial aid administrators develop comprehensive financial aid packages to assist students from diverse backgrounds with unique needs. We are proud of our accessibility model which permits students to study law in a thriving law school community. We look forward to assisting you throughout your law school career. The Office of Financial Aid is committed to providing outstanding service to our students and families. We invite you to contact us if you have any questions about financial aid opportunities at AJMLS.
