Mission
The Attorney Mentoring Program is a collaborative program between the Office of Student Affairs, the Development and Alumni Relations Office, and the Office of Career Development. The program offers an opportunity for professional development, networking, and an exchange of ideas between experienced professionals and the next generation of leaders. It seeks to provide students with insight into the areas in which they want to practice, introduce them to alumni and the legal community, and provide them with a source of support and guidance as they develop their professional identities. It also seeks to facilitate community building, character development, and career advancement for both mentors and mentees. Mentoring relationships are intended to be professional in nature and should help students make the transition from an academic environment to the world of work.
