Audit Students

Audit student status is for practicing attorneys, working professionals, or other individuals interested in taking law school courses for purposes other than receiving credit or a grade. Audit students do not have the right to take final exams or submit papers for grades. To apply as an audit student you must complete an audit application. Please note that Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) students will be given first priority in class selection and tuition is due in full prior to the first day of class.

Applicants must request the application from the Office of Admissions by email (admissions@johnmarshall.edu), then submit the following materials:

  1. A completed audit application, listing the course(s) of interest;
  2. $50 application fee (non-refundable);
  3. A written statement explaining your interest in auditing the particular course(s).

After application acceptance, tuition will be due at the current per credit hour rate for the course. Total tuition for the audit will depend on the posted number of credits for the course selected. You may view the current tuition rate here.

Please submit the above items to the Office of Admissions at admissions@johnmarshall.edu or 245 Peachtree Center Ave. NE, Suite 1900, Atlanta, GA 30303. If you are disabled or have difficulty accessing our website, please call the Office of Admissions for assistance at (678) 916-2620.
