On August 1, 2026, the Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) Alumni Association welcomed its new Board of Director Officers and incoming members. The Officers will serve in their roles for the 2026-2027 year.

Where were you raised?
I was born and raised in Greensboro, Georgia.
Where did you complete your undergraduate and/or graduate education?
Mercer University
Tell us where you currently work, your title, and what you do there/area of practice.
I am currently one of the Assistant District Attorneys in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. I handle the child support unit for Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Morgan, and Putnam counties.
What do you do in your free time?
I love traveling, reading, watching sports, and attending the games. My favorite sports are basketball and football. I love spending quality time with my husband and my family.
Why did you join the AJMLS Alumni Board?
I joined the board in order to help students navigate through the real world of law on a professional and personal level. Having the right connections can minimize stressful and challenging situations.
What do you want the AJMLS alumni and current students to know about you?
I am looking forward to bringing in more innovative ideas for the board and student/alumni participation. I love giving back to the community and to the school. I continue that through the mentoring program at John Marshall.
What is one of your fondest memories of AJMLS?
I remember attending and listening to oral arguments in Washington, D.C. with Professor Burch. We took a group photo with the late Justice Ginsburg. One of the best moments of my law school career.

What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy traveling with my family, playing and watching tennis, and serving the community in various capacities. I also value opportunities to mentor and encourage others.
Why did you join the AJMLS Alumni Board?
I joined to give back to the law school that played such a pivotal role in my journey and to encourage fellow alumni to stay connected while supporting the next generation of AJMLS students.
What do you want the AJMLS alumni and current students to know about you?
I want AJMLS alumni and current students to know that I am a Christian, wife, mother, mentor, and attorney who believes in doing the right things for the right reasons. I am passionate about serving others and encouraging future attorneys to remember that their circumstances or timeline do not define their potential.
What is one of your fondest memories of AJMLS?
One of my fondest memories of AJMLS was hearing Professor Rapping speak during orientation about never overlooking others once we became lawyers. His message let me know I had chosen a law school where people genuinely cared about others.
