Flexible Options from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School
Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School offers three Master of Laws degrees to students already holding a J.D. When you come to Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School for your LL.M., you come for a law degree but find a community. We look forward to working with you!
- Our LL.M. in American Legal Studies offers attorneys in or from other countries a practical understanding of American law that will inform and inspire their own thinking about laws and legal institutions. This program is offered online only.
- Our LL.M. for the Practice of Law in the United States will allow foreign lawyers to acquire knowledge of and appreciation for the standards of ethics and expectations of professionalism that are observed in the American bar. Foreign educated attorneys who have a legal education and authorization to practice law in the foreign country may be eligivle to practice law in the State of Georgia.
- Bar examination eligibility rules vary among the states. Please carefully review the requirements outlined in the Supreme Court of Georgia Rules Governing Admission to the Practice of Law. Specific details about the ruling can be found in Part B: Board of Bar Examiners, Section 4. (c).
- Our LL.M. in Employment Law educates new and experienced attorneys on the challenging issues facing employment specialists. We focus on emerging theories, new legislation, and the increasingly global marketplace. This program is offered online only.

Our LL.M. courses in American Legal Studies and Employment Law are offered online, on-demand. You never have to be at a computer at a certain time, and you learn at your own pace. This is especially attractive if you are holding a full-time job or have a family. An LL.M. degree CAN be yours with our flexible options.
