The Office of Development and Alumni Relations at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) proudly hosted a Mass Swearing-In Ceremony on, Friday, October 9, 2026, celebrating the accomplishments of alumni who recently passed the Georgia Bar Exam. During the ceremony, AJMLS alumni were officially sworn into the Court of Appeals of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia, and the Fulton County Superior Court. The event, held in the Dr. Michael C. Markovitz Lecture Hall, marked a momentous milestone in each graduate’s journey from law student to practicing attorney.
The alumni were honored to be sworn in by distinguished members of the Georgia judiciary, including Judge Paige Reese Whitaker of the Court of Appeals of Georgia and Chief Judge Ural D. Glanville of the Superior Court of Fulton County.
The program also featured remarks from several members of the AJMLS community: Dean Martin L. Ellin delivers the welcome address; Dean Scot Goins, Associate Dean of Academic Achievement, Bar Success, and Data Analytics, offers congratulatory remarks; Kayla Kudratt, President of the AJMLS Alumni Association Board, shares greetings on behalf of the Alumni Association; and A.J. Doucett, Director of Alumni Relations, provides the closing remarks.
Following the ceremony, alumni, family members, faculty, and friends gathered for a small reception to honor the new attorneys and commemorate this important professional achievement.
