At Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, student success is built on more than individual effort—it’s supported by a dedicated team committed to helping students succeed from the classroom to the bar exam.
The Academic Achievement and Bar Success (AABS) program continues to expand its impact through personalized academic support, subject-specific coaching, and faculty-led workshops designed to meet students where they are. In the most recent academic year, the program delivered 32 workshops and 2,446 hours of instruction, more than doubling its workshop offerings compared to three years ago.
That growth reflects increasing student engagement. Average workshop attendance has risen from 33 to 58 students per session, demonstrating the value students place on collaborative learning and individualized guidance.
Unlike traditional academic support models that rely on a single advisor, the AABS program brings together a team of faculty members with diverse teaching styles and subject matter expertise. This collaborative approach provides students with multiple perspectives, targeted instruction, and ongoing support throughout their law school journey.
As the program continues to grow, its mission remains the same: providing every student with the resources, guidance, and encouragement needed to build confidence, strengthen legal knowledge, and prepare for success on the bar exam and beyond.
