Career Highlights

Holmes spent a decade practicing family law in the Atlanta area with an emphasis on complex divorce litigation. In addition, she served as a Volunteer Lawyer for survivors of intimate partner abuse and Guardian ad Litem through Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation’s Office of Safe and Stable Families. She is a trained mediator. Holmes was honored by Georgia SuperLawyers® as a Rising Star for six consecutive years (2018 – 2023) and served in leadership roles in the Charles Longstreet Weltner American Inn of Court. In 2023, Holmes shifted her career from the practice of family law to support law students as an Academic Advisor, Adjunct Professor, and Trial Techniques Instructor at Emory University School of Law.
