Professor Corken has taught at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School since 2015. She is an attorney licensed in Kentucky and Arizona, a law professor and scholar, and a Senior Solutions Engineer and Academic Program Developer at Exterro. She holds credentials as a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS), Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP), and is certified as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and CIPM through the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

For more than a decade she has taught E-Discovery and Information Privacy and Cybersecurity at the law school level, along with Business Law at the undergraduate level. She has presented at bar associations, paralegal organizations, and legal technology conferences nationwide, including the Practising Law Institute. She has several years of experience working at leading international law firms and Fortune 100 corporations on various discovery matters, internal and government investigations, corporate actions, and compliance projects, and has served as an E-Discovery Manager responsible for the oversight of projects with over 5.5 million documents and more than 200 attorneys.

She has published in the Northern Kentucky University Chase Law Review, the John Marshall Law Journal, Bloomberg BNA’s Digital Discovery & e-Evidence reporter, and other publications, and is the author of a forthcoming article on automation bias and legal ethics in the PLI Current.

After law school, she served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Stephen M. McNamee, United States District Judge, United States District Court, District of Arizona.

Prior to law school, Professor Corken worked professionally in film, television, and radio.
