Registration Dates

3L FT and 4L PT, begin Monday, July 8, 2019, 10:00 a.m.

2L FT and 3L PT, begin Wednesday, July 10, 2019, 10:00 a.m.

1L FT and 2L PT, begin Friday, July 12, 2019, 10:00 a.m.

1L PT, Monday, July 15, 2019, 10:00 a.m.

Add/drop deadline: August 16, 2019, 5:00 pm

All changes made to a student’s schedule after the add/drop deadline must be approved by Dean Gatewood before they will be accepted by the Office of the Registrar.

Fall 2019 Entering Students

First-year students starting in August 2019 are pre-registered by the Registrar and may view their individual schedules via the student portal. Any section change requests after add/drop are subject to approval by the Associate Dean of Academic Programs, Jace Gatewood. Dean Gatewood may be reached at jgatewood@johnmarshall.edu.

Continuing Students

All continuing students may register for electives online here.

Choose REGISTRATION to register and add or drop; or choose SCHEDULE to view your schedule.

Required courses will be pre-registered by the Registrar for all students. If you are pre-registered for a course that you have already completed, please let me know immediately.

Closed Courses

If an elective is closed, you must send me the attached Student Action Request (SAR) form (SAR) via email or in person to add your name to the waitlist. Please complete the Add/Drop Class section, as well as the top portion (Name, address, signature, etc.) of the SAR form. When a seat becomes available you will be added to the class roster and notified via email.

SAR forms submitted prior to your assigned registration period will not be processed.

Externship

If you’re interested in registering for an Externship, please contact the Office of Experiential Learning: Assistant Dean of Experiential Learning, Bridgett Ortega at bortega@johnmarshall.edu, or Paul Wilson at pwilson@johnmarshall.edu.

If you plan to graduate in December 2019, please complete and submit the Petition to Graduate and Bar Recertification Request Forms to cferebee@johnmarshall.edu. Please do not submit the forms if you have done so already.
