Meaghan Eustice Named Director of LL.M.

Meaghan Eustice has been named Director of LL.M. for John Marshall Online (JMO). Eustice is a 2015 alumna of Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) and a 2011 graduate of the University of Georgia. She has served consecutively in various roles within the AJMLS J.D. Office of Admissions since 2013. Her immediate past position was as a Contract Public Defender in the Non-Complex Trial Division for Fulton County. In this role, she represented hundreds of clients through every phase from first appearance through the conclusion of trial.

Eustice is passionate about helping others and enjoys seeing the goals of dreamers realized. She is thrilled for the opportunity to be involved in the creation of a re-imagined LL.M. in Employment Law through JMO. She noted that she gets great satisfaction from guiding others through the admissions process.

The entering Fall 2017 class will be the first to benefit from JMO’s new co-enrollment program. The co-enrollment program allows a current J.D. student to complete one year of the LL.M. in Employment Law program through JMO while simultaneously earning credits towards completing his or her J.D. Following graduation, a student will only need to complete one additional year to finish the LL.M. program and secure the Masters of Law. This gives new attorneys a competitive edge in the fast-paced legal marketplace. A deeper knowledge of ethics in the workplace has become more prevalent, so students are receiving additional specialized education in a field that’s experiencing a resurgence.

Additionally, the program is open to licensed attorneys choosing to re-enroll to receive additional education. Whether that be to attract a new and different clientele or to enter a new niche in the legal community, the program is 100% asynchronous and there is no on-campus requirement, so it is an attractive option to a wide audience. Finally, the program presents an excellent option to those who do not hold a J.D., as well. Anyone with a Bachelor’s degree who wants to further his or her education in employment law and employee benefits, can enroll in this unique program. John Marshall Online continues the long-standing AJMLS tradition of collaboration in the classroom.

In her spare time, Eustice enjoys baking, cheering on the Atlanta United and Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with her two dogs, Daytona and Eloise. She was born in France, and she became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 2014. For the best French cuisine in Atlanta, she suggests you head to Atmosphere Restaurant (the Soupe à l’oignon is not to be missed!). Welcome to JMO, Meaghan! We can’t wait to see all the new and innovative ideas you to bring to John Marshall Online.
