DESCRIPTION: \nDear Graduating Students and Law School Community: \nUnfortunately\, the time has come when a decision must be made with respect to graduation. If you have been following the news\, you may know that many law schools across the country\, including here in Georgia\, have all canceled their graduation ceremonies in the face of the coronavirus and the recommendation to avoid large gatherings. Accordingly\, we must follow suit. Therefore\, the graduation ceremony scheduled for May 16\, 2020\, is canceled. While the ceremony has been canceled\, we are exploring other ways to honor your achievements and will communicate those plans when they are known. I know this is disappointing news\, but this decision was not made lightly — it was made in the best interest of the entire community\, and I hope that you can respect and honor this decision as we explore other ways to honor your achievements. \nThank you\, Dean Gatewood \n
