SUMMARY:Meet the Georgia YLD
DESCRIPTION:The State Bar of Georgia\, Young Lawyers Division (Georgia YLD) will be at AJMLS to introduce our Law School to their organization. They will have a panel discussion with all attending students regarding how you can get involved as a law school student\, what your membership in YLD means upon passing the Georgia Bar\, and why YLD is a perfect fit for your up-and-coming legal career. \nThe Georgia YLD is the social and service arm of The State Bar of Georgia. Georgia YLD has a membership of almost 10\,000 “young lawyers” statewide. Additionally\, they have over 25 committees that range almost all practice area interest groups. These committees are dedicated to a variety of issues\, interests\, and projects. Thus\, they encourage all (future) attorneys to become familiar with the YLD as a way to develop knowledge in their practice areas\, give back to the community\, connect with other young lawyers around the state\, and further the profession. \nThe event will take place in room 301. Food will be served. \n
