Dean’s List Recipients

Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School recognizes and congratulates those members of our community who excel academically each semester.

Section 712, Student Handbook Academic Code

Dean’s List: A student who attains a semester grade point average of 3.00 or higher will be placed on the Dean’s List for that semester. The “semester grade point average” is the grade point average for work undertaken in the Law School during either a Fall or Spring semester or a Summer session. In order for a student enrolled in a full-time course load to qualify for the Dean’s List for a Fall or Spring semester, the semester grade point average must be the result of at least three grades having grade point values. In order for a student enrolled in a part-time course load to qualify for the Dean’s List for a Fall or Spring semester, the semester grade point average must be the result of at least two grades having grade point values. For qualification for a Summer Session, the semester grade point average can result from a single course grade if that is the only course taken during the Summer Session from which the student can earn a grade having a grade point value.
