| Before joining the John Marshall Law School faculty in 2005, Professor Butts served
as General Counsel for a Georgia corporation. After law school, Professor Butts practiced as a complex litigation associate at Long, Weinberg, Ansley & Wheeler and Troutman Sanders in Atlanta. While in law school, Professor Butts served as Associate Articles Editor for the Florida Law Review, a member of the Florida Trial Team, and as a teaching fellow for Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy.
