Marketing and Communications

The AJMLS Marketing and Communications Department is ready to work with you and turn your ideas into finished pieces that will highlight your event and your department/organization.

Follow these steps to begin your project.

Step 1: Submit our online request form: When you are ready to contact AJMLS Marketing and Communications for a new project, submit an online New Job Request” form.  This form has options for you to select what service best suits your project needs.

Once you submit the form, you will be contacted as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.

*Please Note: Not all projects require an appointment and may be able to be completed without consultation.

Step 2: Meeting and copy due: If a meeting is required, you and/or your team will meet with either Assistant Director of Marketing Carrie Norman or Communications Manager Aleta Watson, or both to discuss goals, timelines, and costs for your project.  For your convenience, we may determine it is best to set-up a folder on the AJMLS server to allow submission of copy, photos, proof revisions, and/or videos as needed.

Step 3: Editing and design: The copy you send to us may need to be edited. You will be contacted with any questions about the copy. AJMLS Marketing and Communications deals directly with designers if artwork is needed to ensure quality and consistent brand image.

Step 4: Proof: Once you receive your first proof, please mark your requested changes and either e-mail as instructed or upload those changes to your server folder if required.  After revisions are made, a second proof will be sent for your approval. In most cases, your approval is required before we send any item to publish or print.  We will not proceed until you are happy with the final proof and have no further revisions.

Step 5: Project to printer: AJMLS Marketing and Communications delivers your projects to the printers and we deal with printers on your behalf to ensure quality and accuracy.

Step 6: Project delivers: If applicable, AJMLS Marketing and Communications will contact you when your project is ready.

Begin your project today! Submit an online “New Job Request” form.
