Each program runs for five consecutive semesters and new students may enter the program each year in August and May. A minimum number of students is required to form a cohort. In the event that the cohort minimum is not met, the entry date may be deferred to the next semester.

Students begin the LL.M. in American Legal Studies program at the beginning of the academic year in August. There is no mid-year admission.
