Audit Students

Audit student status is for practicing attorneys, working professionals, or others, interested in taking law school courses not for credit. Audit students do not have the right to take final exams or submit papers for grades. This status is reserved for anyone interested in learning more about a particular area of law for purposes other than receiving credit or a grade.To apply as an audit student, you must complete an audit application Please note that JMLS students will be given first priority in class selection.

Applicants must submit the following materials:

  1. A completed audit application listing the course(s) of interest;
  2. $50 application fee (non-refundable);
  3. A written statement explaining why you are interested in auditing the particular course(s). Please note that JMLS students will be given first priority in class selection.
