Student Services Presents “Challenges and Opportunities that Come with a Life in the Law” Program
This presentation, hosted by the Office of Student Services, will focus on the pressures the practice of law places on lawyers to behave unethically or unprofessionally. It will also discuss how to avoid the temptation to compromise personal or professional values for pecuniary gain. During the event, speakers will examine the extraordinary challenges and opportunities that come with the profession and ways in which professionalism contributes to the satisfaction lawyers find in their calling. The featured speaker will be Patrick Longan, Esq., Professor, Mercer Law School; Advisor, Chief Justice’s Committee on Professionalism.
This program serves as a mandatory event for first-year students. For questions and concerns, please contact Dean Harrison at firstname.lastname@example.org,
