Part-Time Day Curriculum: Fall 2015 Entry

The standard part-time day curriculum includes a small number of evening courses. If necessary, a different sequence of courses may be designed for students requiring a day-only curriculum. Requests will be evaluated individually and must be made in writing to the Associate Dean for Academic Programs at least one semester in advance.

Second Year

In the summer session, students are required to take five to six credit hours in electives/upper division writing courses. Students in the bottom half of the class may be required to take Advanced Analytical Methods (2 credits, that count toward graduation as elective credits) in the summer semester. If required, you will be notified in writing prior to the start of the semester.

TOTAL REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION: 88 Credits

*After the first year of study, students take a minimum of 26 credits in elective courses. Also, after completing LWRA I & II, students must take a minimum of two upper division writing courses totaling at least five credits; these five credits must be taken over a two-year period. Part-time students must therefore take an upper-division writing course in two out of their final three years. Students may take additional writing courses to fulfill other elective requirements.
