E-217 – Advanced Transactional Drafting

This course continues to build on the skill learned in Transactional Drafting and Business Organizations with assignments requiring more sophisticated drafting and a deeper understanding of the typical documents associated with transactional law, such as asset purchase agreements, letters of intent, opinions of counsel, and confidentiality agreements. Using a variety of transactional law scenarios, students will develop skills in multi-party negotiations and deal management. Satisfies the upper level writing requirement. Limited to 16 students.
