After a stellar career shepherding Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School into a new era of achievement, Dean Richardson Lynn is retiring. Effective July 1, 2014, the law school will welcome Malcolm L. Morris as its new dean. Before Dean Lynn leaves, the law school will show its appreciation by hosting a farewell reception to celebrate his career at John Marshall.

Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School is pleased to announce the 2014 Commencement Exercises will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center. The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. and tickets are not needed for entrance. For more information regarding the venue, including parking, please visit www.atlantaciviccenter.com.
The Office of Admissions at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (AJMLS) will hold an Accepted Student Reception to welcome the law school’s newly accepted students. The reception will be Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the law school’s Blackburn Conference Center.
The Accepted Student Reception will begin at 6 p.m. and include dinner, mock opening and closing statements presented by current AJMLS students, an in-depth alumni panel, and the opportunity to interact with key department representatives. Registration and campus tours will begin at 5 p.m. Business casual dress is requested.
At AJMLS, students enjoy small class sizes taught by highly-skilled legal professionals, an actively-involved alumni network, a nationally-ranked Pro Bono and Experiential Learning Program, and a wide array of student organization options.

As we move closer to the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year, the Office of Student Services at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School is eager to welcome incoming students at the 2014 New Student Orientation. The orientation will be held across the street from the law school at its Blackburn Conference Center, on Thursday, August 14, 2014 and will conclude on Saturday, August 16, 2014.
Specific days and times have been designated for full-time day, part-time day, and part-time evening students. All students should expect to receive a comprehensive orientation designed to prepare them for a challenging and rewarding law school experience.
