U.S. DOJ- Atlanta Immigration Court
The Atlanta Immigration Court conducts immigration hearings largely in the removal context. Cases include asylum, adjustment of status, cancellation, among other forms of relief from removal.
Description of Student Work:
this is a research/writing heavy position. Immigration and/or administrative law experience preferred (not required). Students work on written decisions and motions, including asylum. Students can also observe hearings.
Course & Other Requirements:
- An FBI background check & security investigation is required
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Applicants must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years
