Externship - Approved Placements

Judge Larry A. Baldwin, II

Former Hall County Solicitor General Larry A. Baldwin, III, was sworn in Oct. 27 as State Court Judge. He was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to the state court judgeship recently created in Hall County. Until a new Solicitor General is appointed by the governor in the near future, Chief Assistant Solicitor Jennifer Scalia will fill that capacity. Baldwin will be appointed until the next election cycle, which is in 2010. The new state court judge position was added during the 2008 state legislative session due to population growth in Hall County. Baldwin joins Charles Wynne and B.E. Roberts in State Court, which handles misdemeanor criminal and civil cases.
