The General Counsel’s office is responsible for representing the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority in all legal matters affecting the Authority as assigned by the Vice President for Legal Affairs/General Counsel. Specific areas of responsibility include assisting outside counsel in managing malpractice litigation, working with Risk Management staff in developing cases, research and writing on legal issues affecting the Authority such as patient care, managed care, contracts, government relations, personnel and employee relations.
