Fayette County Solicitor General's Office
The Solicitor-General, is responsible for the prosecution of all traffic, misdemeanor, and ordinance violation cases in the State Court of Fayette County. Some of the most common offenses include crimes of domestic violence, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and thefts involving property or services valued at less than $1,500 ($500 in the case of shoplifting).
Description of Student Work:
The student provides assistance to the Solicitor General by preparing cases for trial. Research case law regarding charges, preparing appropriate motions and charges.
