The EEOC is the federal agency charged with investigating, ending, and preventing discrimination . The EEOC assists those who have been discriminated against by an employer, labor union or employment agency when applying for a job or while on the job because of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, or disability, etc. Student externs selected to work in the Atlanta office of the EEOC will assist with a variety of tasks and assignments.
