Externship - Approved Placements

Atlanta City Council - Office of the President

Students selected for an externship with the Office of the President will work under the direction of the Chief of Staff. They will assist the Council President's Office with administrative support, research and analysis regarding constituent issues; community development and public safety. The student will interact with City, County and State agencies, Atlanta constituents and local businesses as well as the City Council-members and staff; perform independent research, attend public meetings and report back to the Chief of Staff. Students will be required to work approximately 15-30 hours per week (hours can be adjusted as needed).
