Bar Preparation Workshops
Committed to preparing students to succeed in the classroom, on exams and ultimately, to pass the bar, the Office of Academic Achievement provides a variety of workshops for students to attend to aid in their development and growth. Introduction to the Bar Exam Workshop: Graduating students begin the Academic Year with a Bar Exam Workshop that outlines the requirements of the Bar Exam across jurisdictions and timelines general bar preparation.
Character and Fitness Workshop: The Director of Bar Admissions presents a one-hour workshop on the fitness process, including insights regarding the disclosure requirements and how to deal with negative information.
Essay Writing Workshop: Graduating students will attend a full day workshop on successful bar exam essay writing.
Kaplan/PMBR MBE Workshop: Graduating students will attend a 3-day preview of the Kaplan/PMBR 6-day/3-day signature MBE program. This course will serve as a refresher to the most heavily tested topics within each subject and is designed to create a bridge between the substantive knowledge learned in the first and second years of law school and the bar exam.
