Dean Turner had this to say about the upcoming summit, “The Summit is designed to expose students to laws that have a direct impact on their lives as teens. We want to spark their interests in pursuing legal careers. However, more importantly we want to encourage them to become educated and informed citizens.

This year’s Summit will focus on ‘stand your ground’ laws. We will also feature the award winning film The Children’s March, the story of the pivotal role that young people played in the civil rights movement.”
