Join AJMLS at the 2012 Solo Practitioner Boot Camp
The Alumni Office in conjunction with the Career Development Office invites you to attend the 2012 Solo Practitioner Boot Camp.
The boot camp, which will be held from 1-5 p.m. on November 1, 2012 at the Blackburn Conference Center, will be moderated by AJMLS Adjunct Professors Joseph Rosen and Marty Ellin. Training topics will include setting up and managing your law practice; client development; skill development; technology and communications; pro bono opportunities; and more. The program will also include two solo practitioner panels, and guest speaker, Alvaron A. Arauz of Growth Management Consulting. There will also be a vendor resource table to provide participants more information about various services and products available to assist solo practitioners.
After the event, we encourage participants to join us at the Artmore Hotel, located a short distance from the conference center at the corner of W. Peachtree and 15th Streets, for a networking opportunity with alumni, students, vendors, and other legal professionals.
It is free to attend the boot camp, however, if participants would like to receive CLE credit (3.4 CLE hours, including 1.0 Professionalism hour – credit applied for), a $45 fee will apply. For more information, to RSVP, or to register for CLE credit, please contact Chad Dillard, Assistant Director of Alumni at firstname.lastname@example.org of 404-872-3593 ext. 287.
