ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS

 

Volume 2 of John Marshall Law Journal, titled “Georgia Law: State Interference with Privacy and Private Property Rights – Justified or Unlawfully Intrusive,” is forthcoming in Spring 2009.  The Journal is no longer accepting article submissions for the Spring 2009 Volume.

 

 

 

Volume 3: Education Law in Georgia

 

John Marshall Law Journal invites article submissions from law professors, members of the Judiciary, and Practitioners. Effective immediately, the Journal is accepting article submissions for Volume 3 of the Journal focusing exclusively on Education Law in Georgia to be published Spring 2010. Volume 3 of the Journal will provide an in-depth discussion of the legal issues facing Practitioners, Judges and Legislators in Education Law.  Examples of issues covered by this topic include:  school vouchers, local control, governance, Georgia’s implementation of federal mandates, and the adequacy of public education. 

 

The Journal is provided to both Judges and Legislators in Georgia. As such, articles discussing matters of judicial consideration or legislative action in Georgia are of particular interest to the Journal.  All articles should focus on Georgia law.

 

 

Submissions

 

Submissions may be emailed in Microsoft Word format to:

You will be immediately notified via e-mail when your submission is received. Please include a separate abstract of no more than 500 words with your submission.  You may submit an abstract before submitting your completed article, and we will contact you promptly regarding interest in your article.

Requirements for Submission

 

All citations must be in footnotes and must conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed. 2005). We suggest you include a cover letter and resume with your submission.  Please insert it at the beginning of the document you intend to submit.
