Because the John Marshall Law Journal is produced and edited by second and third year law students who have demonstrated outstanding writing skills and academic success,
membership on the Journal is by invitation only and is highly regarded by the legal community.
Members of the Journal include the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Deputy Managing Editor, Executive Editors, Associate Editors, and Staff Members.
Students may gain editoral positions on the Journal through dedication and diligent work to create superior quality products while in a Staff Member position.
Staff Members are invited to join the Journal in one of two ways:
by ranking among the top students in their class or by exhibiting stellar writing skills through participation in the Journal’s annual writing competition.
If you have questions about the membership criteria for the John Marshall Law Journal, please email the Journal at lawjournal@johnmarshall.edu.
