DESCRIPTION:<p>This is another reminder that our Kaplan Assessment Testing 
 for part-time 2L students will be held from 6:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.\, on M
 onday\, February 4\, 2013\,<strong> </strong>in Room 709.  As you know\, t
 his is a mandatory assessment for all 2L part-time students. <strong>PLEAS
 E BRING YOUR LAPTOPS</strong> for the written portion of the assessment. P
 encils will be provided.</p>\n<p>If you are in Professor Cantley’s Propert
 y II class\, not to worry\, as he is aware of this testing and will NOT ha
 ve class on this day.</p>\n<p>The purpose of this testing is two-fold: 1) 
 To provide you a personalized assessment of your strengths and weaknesses\
 ; and\, 2) To provide our school with invaluable metrics\, that will help 
 inform and mold our effort in improving the quality of our education and y
 our preparation for the bar exam.  It is a very integral part of the educa
 tional process\, in that it provides us feedback prior to the bar exam\, c
 oncerning your progress\, our areas of strength\, and our areas of weaknes
 s.  Please take it serious.  In addition\, it also provides a rare opportu
 nity to start training your mind and body to perform under bar exam condit
 ions.</p>\n<p>Given that this is scheduled during the evening and is exclu
 sively for part-time students\, I do expect ALL 2L part-time students to a
 ttend this testing.  Please reserve requesting an exception to this policy
  for only the most exceptional of circumstances.  If you do have an except
 ional circumstance that prevents you from attending\, please make a writte
 n request to Dean Cieply\, with supporting documentation\, as soon as prac
 ticable.  Students who do not complete the testing as scheduled\, or under
  an approved exception\, will receive an administrative hold\, and will no
 t be able to register for summer classes.</p>
