DESCRIPTION:<p>Every year Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School hosts its Fred
  Gray Social Justice Seminar in honor of the legal legacy of veteran civil
  rights attorney Fred Gray. Each seminar tackles pressing and current lega
 l issues attorneys and practitioners face. This year the theme is “Conquer
 ing Growing Issues: Women Rising in the Face of Adversities”.</p>\n<p>The 
 6<sup>th</sup> Annual Fred Gray Social Justice Seminar will take place fro
 m 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.\, on Friday\, February 22\, 2013 at the law school’s
  Blackburn Conference Center located at 1405 Spring St. Atlanta\, GA 30309
 . The seminar will include a panel discussion on several epic issues affec
 ting women. In furtherance of this year’s theme\, panelists will address t
 he following topics:  1) immigrant women who are the victims of domestic v
 iolence\, 2) breaking the cycle of drug addiction for women\, 3) the abusi
 ve practice of shackling pregnant women in prison\, and 4) the increase in
  teen dating violence against young girls.</p>\n<p>Atlanta’s John Marshall
  Law School will also present this year’s Fred Gray Social Justice Award t
 o Catholic Charities of Atlanta (CCA). CCA is an advocate and friend for i
 ndividuals and families facing adversity.  They provide a holistic combina
 tion of accredited social services − life skills education\, counseling\, 
 family stabilization\, and immigration legal services − that remove barrie
 rs to self-sufficiency and wholeness.</p>\n<p>For more information on this
