How to Participate:
Mock interviews will be held this Fall. Sign-up is on a first-come first-served basis in the Career Development Office. To sign up, bring your resume to the 2nd floor Career Development Office and reserve your spot with one of several practicing attorneys that represent a range of fields and positions within the Atlanta legal community. Interviews will last 30 minutes, allowing for a practice interview and a helpful critique. Since this is an authentic simulation, you should bring a copy of your resume and list of references to the interview.

Fall Writing Contest
The National Law Review is hosting it’s Fall 2012 Law Student Writing Contest with the winner’s article to be published on the National Law Review website, the National Law Forum blog, and included in the October newsletter. Volunteer Opportunity – Help GAWL Foundation serve a Welcome to America lunch
Volunteer to help the GAWL Foundation Board Community Service Committee serve a Welcome to America Lunch on September 25, 2012 from 11:30-1 p.m with Refugee Resettlement & Immigration Services of Atlanta (RRISA). This lunch is served during RRISA’s orientation for new refugees who have arrived in Atlanta and allows volunteers to meet these new residents of the U.S. and Georgia and welcome them to our community. RRISA is a non-profit agency whose multi-lingual staff members, some of them former refugees themselves, help clients begin new lives and succeed.
